If your teen is in distress, you are not alone. 1 in 7 teens experience mental health challenges. Depression, anxiety and beahvioural disorders are among the leading causes of illness in our teens. 

Introduction to
Skills Group for Teens

​​Our skills group is geared to helping your teen. We welcome teens from 13 to 18 years old. We offer 8 weekly sessions in a safe, respectful and confidential environment. 

In our weekly sessions, your teen will learn strategies to:

  • Be Present and Increase Self Awareness

  • Cope with Intense Emotions

  • Tolerate Emotional Discomfort

  • Improve Communication and Relationships

At the end of the session, your teen will be introduced to a tool box of strategies that they can use to improve their emotional lives and foster healthy relationships going forward. 

Our group requires a degree of :

  • Willingness

  • Readiness to participate

  • Collaboration and respect

***The group is facilitated by a licensed clinical psychologist and a life skills specialist with over 15 years group experience***
